I have always believed that this song was inspired by Jesus. I was 9 years old when it was released and I was BLOWN AWAY! When I learned that Norman was an Orthodox Jew, I was absolutely convinced it was divinely inspired. How else could an Orthodox Jew write such a strong Christian anthem? I will always love this song, and I continually crank my stereo to the max whenever it comes on. Drives my wife crazy when I play my “Hippy Music”. Thank you Devin and thank you Norman!

When I hear there music, I swear it’s God inspired. Their lyrics were clean! Nothing like the abhorrent lyrics we hear today. Amen, I agree with your last statement. Should treat everybody with respect. We seem to be missing that these days. A good church is a great place to start. I am an Elvis fan to the core. Elvis being raised in a very poor neighborhood and his father said there were times they only had a piece of cornbread to eat, but they raised Elvis to respect everybody and to help others whenever he could. Elvis said, in an interview in the 50's that his favorite scripture in the Bible was "what does it profit a man to gain the whole world but lose his soul!" He gave everything he could to everyone. I have heard a lot of videos on Elvis generous heart but they barley scratch the surface of his giving. God bless you.
